We are honored to share that Tune n Turn Co., Ltd. was recently interviewed by the Central News Agency (CNA), where we presented our long-term commitment to transforming agricultural waste into environmentally friendly material solutions and products. The interview introduced how our work begins from the land — combining design expertise with sustainability — leading to the development of naturally biodegradable pineapple fiber mulch film and fruit-protection bags, which earned international recognition through the 2025 iF Design Award – Social Impact Prize (Germany).
Founded by Chia-Tsen Chu and Wei-Ting Hsu, Tune n Turn is built around the Cradle-to-Cradle philosophy, giving new value to natural by-products such as pineapple leaves, coffee grounds and bamboo. These materials are transformed into circular products including drinkware, tableware, and agricultural tools.“Our belief has always been that agricultural waste is not trash — it is a forgotten resource,” said Chia-Tsen Chu. “Through design, we return these materials to the earth once again in a meaningful way.”
The interview also highlighted Tune n Turn’s adoption of FSC-certified materials, low-carbon printing inks, and PFAS-free packaging, as well as cross-sector collaborations with the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and other organizations in driving supply-chain decarbonization.
Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to advancing the commercialization of agricultural waste materials and building design solutions that coexist with nature.
