Ecological Initiative | Starting from Agricultural and Forestry Waste,
Shaping Regenerative Everyday Landscapes
Regenerating Resources, Letting the Land Shape Everyday Life
Circular Materials × Ecological Design × Sustainable Practice
We care not only about how design looks, but where it comes from—and where it is meant to go.
In Taiwan, we step into diverse landscapes to rediscover what has been discarded and forgotten.
From the 139 County Road in central Taiwan, to bamboo forests in the north, and the eastern coastline, we reclaim overlooked natural materials and redefine the meaning of “waste.”
Through material innovation and design, these resources are transformed into high-quality, eco-friendly products that support sustainable living and green manufacturing.
By closing the loop—from land to life—we create a circular design system that responds to climate change and the growing challenges of resource scarcity.

Nantou County Route 139|Upcycling Pineapple Agricultural Waste
Along Nantou’s County Route 139—known for its thriving pineapple cake industry—vast amounts of pineapple leaves, roots, and stems are discarded or even burned during crop rotation each year.
In collaboration with local farmers, we transform this agricultural waste into biodegradable mulch films and packaging materials, creating a closed-loop system that turns farm waste into valuable agricultural resources.

New Taipei City|Upcycling Green Bamboo Agricultural Waste
Each spring and summer, bamboo farmers prune large amounts of bamboo branches to maintain quality and yield.
These green bamboo residues—once destined for incineration—are processed, pelletized, and transformed into tableware, stationery, and design objects. The result is a collection of everyday products that embody the spirit of the local landscape.

Hualien|Driftwood Recovery & Regeneration
Each spring and summer, bamboo farmers prune large quantities of bamboo branches to manage quality and yield.
These green bamboo residues—once destined for incineration—are carefully pre-processed, pelletized, and transformed into tableware, stationery, and design objects, becoming everyday products that reflect the character and spirit of the local landscape.

Fuli, Hualien|Bamboo Waste Regeneration × Local Essential Oil Experience Design
In Fuli, Hualien, bamboo forests are abundant, yet pruned bamboo waste has long lacked effective reuse.
In collaboration with the Fuli Farmers’ Association, we introduce bamboo fiber pelletizing and packaging development technologies to transform these natural byproducts into eco-friendly fragrance containers. Paired with locally produced hydrosols and single essential oils, we have developed a series of DIY kits and practical aroma products with strong regional identity.
This initiative not only demonstrates the innovative potential of “bamboo waste-to-industry,” but also creates a distinctive eco-tourism experience rooted in local culture and a sense of healing.
