Tune n Turn Wins 2nd Place at the 2025 Environmental Care & Sustainable Design Competition — Advancing Sustainable Design Through Agricultural Waste Regeneration

We are proud to announce that Tune n Turn Co., Ltd. has been awarded 2nd Place at the 2025 Environmental Care & Sustainable Design Competition for our project “Biodegradable Pineapple Fiber Mulch Film & Fruit-Protection Bags.”This recognition once again demonstrates our commitment to the land, design, and a more sustainable future.

This year’s competition was evaluated by an expert jury from the fields of design and sustainability, focusing on three key criteria: Green Material Innovation, Sustainable Living Practices, and Design for Social Impact. Tune n Turn stood out among numerous submissions and received unanimous recognition for the following achievements:

✔ Transforming pineapple agricultural waste into naturally biodegradable materials

✔ Applying these materials to mulch films and fruit-protection bags to reduce plastic pollution

✔ Integrating Cradle-to-Cradle circular design and co-creation with local farming communities

✔ Establishing a complete regenerative cycle — from agricultural waste → new materials → product applications → return to soil

“This award is not only a recognition of our technology, but a gentle response to the land,”said co-founder Chia-Tsen Chu.“We believe design can transform systems and bring people closer to nature.”

Looking ahead, Tune n Turn will continue to invest in agricultural waste regeneration and plant-fiber material innovation, working with farmers, government partners, and industry stakeholders to scale green impact and create a homegrown model of sustainable design in Taiwan.
